Rose Dishman

Physical Therapist

Hello, I am Rose Dishman, a physical therapist working at the University Health Services and with the Adaptive Sports and Fitness Program. I graduated from University of Michigan with a degree in Physical Therapy. After working at various locations in Michigan, Colorado and Guam, I returned to the Ann Arbor area to be closer to my family. I chose to return to the University of Michigan to work because I love the values of the University including lifelong learning, diversity and inclusion.

My favorite moments with the program are the many times when we come together and work as a team, supporting, encouraging and celebrating with each other. The program is truly a family. Ann Arbor is an amazing place in Michigan. I especially love the Arboretum, the Diag, the Union and the Graduate Library. There are high energy places, places to relax, and places to focus and learn on campus. I am also always energized when walking into the new Varsity track building for our strength and conditioning workouts. I am happiest if I have had some time to be outside and active each day, and when I can help others feel better and meet their goals.
