Daneel Proshlyakov

Athlete

Daneel Proshlyakov is a sophomore from East Lansing, MI. He has cerebral palsy and is a multi-sport athlete. Daneel began his adaptive sports journey at two years old when he was put on skis for the first time. He went on to race alpine in high school before qualifying for the NASTAR National Championships in 2020 with a top ten national ranking. Daneel has yet to compete in track and field events, but he has plans to compete in RaceRunner track events in the future. He is also working to start a skiing branch of ASF.

Community Outreach Director for A Chance to Dance, 2018-2020

· a program that taught teens with disabilities the basics of social dance in order to facilitate their attendance at school social events such as prom
