Cathryn Gray

Major: Arts and Ideas in the Humanities with a focus in education, advocacy, and marketing
Minor: Intergroup Relations; Facilitative Leadership Track
Cathryn Gray is from Atlanta, Georgia and was the first female adaptive athlete at University of Michigan. She has cerebral palsy and is an internationally ranked adaptive track and field athlete ranked in the top five in the world in Discus and Javelin in the F35 classification. Cathryn was designated as US Paralympic High School All American in track and field, and also Women’s Sports Foundation National Ambassador/Travel and Training Grant recipient. She is a 4-time Gold Medalist at the Desert Challenge Grand Prix, a Bronze Medalist at the World Cerebral Palsy Games in San Cugat Spain, and currently holds US National Records in Javelin and Discus.
